W/any build for Hard Mode
I have all campaigns and expansions. But I only have hard mode for Prohpicies. I currently use the D-Slash build, but I get my ass kicked in most places. So I was wondering what build i should use to solo any where in prophicies on hard mode.

Are you using the full Godmode build (read the sticky) or just [[FGJ] and [[Dragon Slash]? If you've got [["Save Yourselves!" (Luxon)] up all the time, no one should be dying. Of course, you're success will also depend on how your heroes are set up, how you're acting on the battlefield, and what equipment you/your heroes are using.
If you're using Godmode, most of Tyria should be a pushover. Post more info and we can better determine whats going wrong.
EDIT: Define 'ass kicked'. Are you just getting overwhelmed the second you get attacked or do the fights carry on for a long time and they outlast you/DP kills you in the long run?

Define 'solo'.
Are you playing with heros and henchmen or actually solo and are looking for a farming build ?

Hit ctrl + F, type 'godmode' and the first search result is in the part you're looking for. In the sticky that is.

The most important thing is giving your heros good builds. If you have them set up right and know how to use them and how to pull targets then you can go with any empty skill bar and still romp through most areas.

I find that in Prophicies more than any other chapter the map your on will change the build you wish to use.
There are parts with massive blocking, parts with lots of wars or ranger or eles or mesmers, ect...(meaning 4+ of one type in each mob).
When facing the Undead it really helps to have a Hero with [judges insight] and have him cast it on you and any other physical attackers. A Dervish really does well vs Undead.
When facing mobs of Mesmers(windriders are very nasty) Have your Monk hero bring Spellbreaker and you can wipe them out very quickly.
Tactics play just as big a part as your build so make certain you know the area and all its dangers before you set up your party.

Why [[Yeti Smash] over [[Crude Swing]?

Or switch to W/D for [[Heart of Holy Flame] if you run caster Heroes.

Run a god mode build (D-Slash, For great justice, save yourselves). Very helpful since the monsters in HM hit really high.

[Flail][Eviscerate][Executioners Strike][Agonizing Chop][Enraging Charge][For Great Justice][Optional][Sunspear Rebirth Signet]
Invest all points into Axe then left overs into Strength.
I've used this build for a long time. Use Enraging Charge and For Great Justice just before you hit anything for instant use of any adren skill. Whilst FGJ is up you can pretty much spam Eviscerate on multiple foes. If something is running away from you use Enraging Charge and then go back into Flail. When you kill one group you should find FGJ is pretty much ready for the next group.

Enraging Charge won't help you much if something is running away. Especially not in HM. Besides, it ends once you hit something, so it doesn't do all that much against kiters anyway. EC is an instant adr boost, other than that it doesn't have much use in a HM area. Besides, you can just swap targets or get someone to snare the kiter.

I mean for when a foe moves and you stuck in Flail. Use Enraging as the cancel stance. When you catch up and make a hit you can go straight back into Flail. Foe's in PvE don't run all that much. The only time you see kiting is Kournan monks this is when yes enraging wont be useful.

That's only half the argument. You're forgetting the fact that you still can't catch a kiter in HM, regardless of whether you have +25% or -33% movement speed. And btw, I'd say a lot more than just Kournan Monks kite.

Since I got Dragon Slash last week I've been using this to great effect:
[Dragon Slash, SY;OQYTkmITZaxZqZHU0DAgv6qwwCA]
Optional: [asuran scan][grasping earth][rending touch][brawling headbutt][signet of capture][sunspear rebirth signet].
The aoe damage from dragon slash charging whirlwinds is awesome. With a five second SY, I can keep it up most of the time when FGJ is down just using Sun and Moon and a few auto attacks to charge dragon slash back up.
